Moffitt Cancer Center embraces accountability and transparency in health care pricing. We are committed to transparency and want to educate you, our patients and families, regarding your financial obligations. A hospital’s charge is the dollar amount that is billed to insurance companies; however, it is typically not what a patient will be responsible for paying. Your individual responsibility (out-of-pocket amount) will vary depending on what type of insurance coverage and benefits you have.
In order to assist you with estimating your financial obligation, we provide price estimates for a wide range of common medical services. The price estimator tool below will allow you to calculate your out-of-pocket costs for upcoming procedures and get a cost estimate for your procedure. Please note that professional services and other independent practitioner services are not included in the estimate.
Before you use the price estimator tool below, please gather the following information:
- Type of service being performed (diagnostic test, radiology, surgery, women’s services)
- Service name (mammography, biopsy, infusion.)
- Insurance information (if you have insurance), including company, member ID/policy number, group number
- Your out-of-pocket amounts. (Remaining deductible, any applicable coinsurance and/or copay information).
