Moffitt Researchers Discover Regulatory Pathway That Blocks Immune Response Against Cancer
Moffitt Researchers Discover Mechanism that Regulates Anti-Tumor Activity of Immune Cells in Ovarian Cancer
The Department of Immunology at Moffitt Cancer Center includes an interactive group of basic immunologists focusing on elucidating novel mechanisms governing the immunobiology of solid and hematological malignancies. Departmental faculties have a strong record of applying basic research findings to the treatment of human malignancies. All Immunology faculties are also members of our NCI-designated cancer center, and many of them are actively collaborating within cutting-edge immunotherapeutic trials. All departmental members also participate in the Cancer Biology Graduate Program at the University of South Florida, which provides a pipeline of talented graduate students to be trained in our laboratories. At Moffitt, the Department of Immunology contributes to developing the next generation of immunotherapeutic interventions that will transform the management of cancer patients.
